Unit Groups

If you have lots of identical units or are using the same images for multiple units, you will need to collect these together in a Unit Group in order to only display the requisite number of units to a customer when they come to book.  You can read more about how to clone multiple units here.

Creating a Unit Group

  • Go to Setup
  • Select the Groups tab
  • Select 'show one' from the dropdown menu
  • Give your group a colour
  • Choose the sort order number you want (starting at 1)
  • Add the relevant identical units to this group

Ordering Groups of Units

You can choose the sort order for your groups, so that results including groups will appear in that order (on the site page for example when a customer goes to book). This means you can choose which of your units are presented first to customers.

Optimising Groups of Units PLUS

Bookings can be optimised within a group by automatically moving new bookings into the most suitable unit within the group, thus freeing up longer periods of availability in other units. You should only select optimisation if the units within the group are identical. Please note, optimisation of group units is only available to Bedful Plus and Bedful Pro subscribers.

OPTIMISE ALL AVAILABILITY

Select this option if you would like all new bookings to be optimised by automatically moving bookings to another unit within the group to fill units in the most efficient way. Please note, selecting this option means that your own dashboard bookings may be automatically moved to another unit within the group, even when you have selected a specific unit.

OPTIMISE ALL AVAILABILITY EXCLUDING DASHBOARD

Select this option if you would like customer bookings (from the Bedful widget) to be optimised by automatically moving bookings to another unit within the group, in order to fill units in the most efficient way. Your own dashboard bookings will not be moved from the units you specify.
